Its gettin cold here in Burlington but whats really gucci is the snow thats been falling in the mountains.
First and foremost, Mt. Snow is opening this weekend for their Pre-season Launch Pad / Rail Jam thing. Get There
"Hellooooo Winter! Here’s the news we’ve all been waiting for! The forecast is looking favorable so as of right now we are planning to fire up the fan guns over on Launch Pad Thursday and Friday nights, weather permitting. It only takes a few hours for our high-output fan guns to make enough snow to slide on, plus there’s some white stuff in the forecast for Thursday into Thursday." Mountsnow.com

Second, some white stuff has been falling at the Bush and Killington and is supposed to keep going until later tonight.

8th Annual Champlain College Rail Jam
Save the date! The 8th Annual Champlain College Rail Jam will be held Friday, November 11 from 7:00 to 10:00pm on the Aiken lawn!
ENTRY INFORMATION FOR COMPETITORS:
- 15 skiers, 15 snowboarders
- $10 entry fee
- sign up at the hub
- proof of riding ability from faculty advisor (pictures, video, whatever you have. email skiandride@chamlpain.edu for more info)
- first come first serve, so sign up early

"Shhhhh. Can you hear that? That’s the sound of 50 legendary Sunday River snowguns winding down from a hard night’s work. That’s right, early this morning our snowmaking team took to T2 and decided that it was time to test the guns. The end result? A nice fresh blanket of white!"
